Wake Up Young Black Males... (Paperback)
Steve Johnson Jr. is the oldest of five children. He lived a life of poverty and experienced the
inevitable struggle to survive. His concern for young black men and their stagnant progress
motivated him to spend the past year writing this book. He recounts his personal
experiences and the things hes seen, to inspire and encourage young black males;
and to convey the message that black people need to change. No longer is it okay for
black men to be dormant; it will lead to another generation of lost young black males.
There is no single solution. The way out is complex but attainable.
History is in the making as Barack Obama, a black man makes a bid for the US Presidency.
Mr. Johnson thinks now is the perfect time to allow the world to read his story, to
understand the young black males struggle in America. He firmly believes that one persons pain can lead to another persons uplifting.
